The homemade pasta at nearby Trattoria Vaticano Giggi was mind-blowing, a true taste of Rome! The room was impeccably clean, and I felt right at home with the warming hospitality of the staff.

First of all, the Eccelso hotel is NOT a hotel. It’s an apartment, and finding it was a bit of a hassle with a 15-minute trek from the reception.

The lack of soundproofing made our stay unbearable. We were constantly disturbed by noise from the corridors, especially in the morning when cleaning staff were nearby. Additionally, the bathroom had no ventilation, which made it quite unpleasant after showers.

I had a delightful stay at Eccelso Hotel, with a superb location just minutes from the Vatican. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. My room was lovely and impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere for my adventures around Rome.

Just a great match for a quick stopover in Rome at a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy, clean room and the friendly staff who assisted with local recommendations. Better to book early if you're visiting around holidays to secure a good rate.

The breakfast option was delightful, as I enjoyed an Italian breakfast with croissants, orange juice, and cappuccino delivered right to my room for just 10 euros.

Checkout was at an early 10am.
