The homemade pasta at nearby Trattoria Vaticano Giggi was mind-blowing, a true taste of Rome! The room was impeccably clean, and I felt right at home with the warming hospitality of the staff.
First of all, the Eccelso hotel is NOT a hotel. It’s an apartment, and finding it was a bit of a hassle with a 15-minute trek from the reception.

Great customer service and clean, comfortable beds.
The lack of soundproofing made our stay unbearable. We were constantly disturbed by noise from the corridors, especially in the morning when cleaning staff were nearby. Additionally, the bathroom had no ventilation, which made it quite unpleasant after showers.

good location but lacked soundproofing
The hotel was very clean, making it feel inviting upon arrival. The staff offered exceptional support and always welcomed my queries with a smile. I truly appreciated the comfortable bed, which provided me a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Other guests also mentioned that the Italian breakfast delivered to the room was a lovely touch, enhancing the overall experience.
However, the thin walls allowed for noticeable noise from fellow guests.

Just a great match for a quick stopover in Rome at a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy, clean room and the friendly staff who assisted with local recommendations. Better to book early if you're visiting around holidays to secure a good rate.

Eccelso provided an exceptional experience during my work stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and excellently located for visiting Rome's sights. The standout feature was the staff's helpfulness. they went above and beyond, happily assisting with any questions regarding local attractions and transport. The breakfast option was delightful, as I enjoyed an Italian breakfast with croissants, orange juice, and cappuccino delivered right to my room for just 10 euros.
Checkout was at an early 10am.

The excellent location made it a breeze to explore nearby attractions, with St Peter's Basilica just minutes away. The beautifully furnished rooms were always clean, and I particularly enjoyed the option of a delivered Italian breakfast — a delightful way to start the day without leaving the hotel. However, the thin walls allowed for noticeable noise from other guests, which could sometimes be disruptive. Also, while public transport accessibility was generally good, occasionally it felt a bit hectic during peak hours.
